EGGS
 

This project started out as a technical challenge to photograph a white object on a white background. Using an 8x10 view camera, strobe lighting, and black and white film, I discovered that white is a relative value and can be rich with deep, dark, shadows. However, something that initially began as a technical exercise soon took on a deeper meaning. The more I explored the visual simplicity of eggs, the more I realized their sensual and symbolic meaning.
